The Wendland.Elbe region has really pulled out all the stops to present you with all kinds of terrific sights. Hop to it -- and experience everything that’s right there in front of you. But you won’t find any hop-on/hop-off buses here. Instead, everything is designed such that you can get moving as the spirit moves you. The forest provides you with air conditioning; the bicycle path is your highway. As you move through picturesque nature and charming rundling villages without a filter, you will not only get to know the Wendland region and its people better, but maybe yourself as well. In a land of doers, you should also just do it too!

It’s logical: in an area with such a great ecological awareness, bicyclists are more than welcome. Cycling trails, rentals, and repair shops -- everything is ready for you.

Paddle till you’re happy or enjoy a lively group tour on the Sofa Raft. Wendland meadows and marshes look just as fabulous from the water. Do you prefer motion, action and splashing around or would you rather relax?

Why should you do the walking? Feel free to let a horse carry you through Wendland on its back. All over are places for you to ride.

There is room for 4 people on the bicycle draisines: 2 people pedal like a bicycle, 2 people take a seat on the seats behind it. The ride from Zernien to Pudripp (4.5 km) and back takes about two hours, depending on how strong you pedal. First through fields with a wide view slightly uphill to the Braascher bridge. Then you enter a dense forest, which sometimes seems almost Scandinavian. You start your tour at the draisine station at the Alte Schmiede in Zernien, directly at the railway crossing.

The element water fascinates both young and old. In the water adventure park you are on the track of water and can learn a lot of exciting facts - without missing out on fun and experience. The pirate ship is just one of the many highlights waiting to be explored by you.

A game of minigolf with a beautiful view of the river Elbe or adventure golf in Bergen an der Dumme - that sounds like a few enjoyable hours in the fresh air! At these minigolf courses an excursion into the beautiful natural landscapes of the Wendland can be combined with a round of fun. Minigolf clubs and balls can be rented on site.

Golf amidst healthy biotopes, with rare butterflies, changing red deer and lovely squirrels. The 18-hole golf course in a quiet forest location is a course that nature conservationists would love.
