The “Fire, Heath -- New Life” exhibit at the House in the Nemitz Heath clearly illustrates how the landscape, with its characteristic dunes, was formed thousands of years ago during the Ice Age and, remarkably, how the Nemitz Heath was a result of a catastrophic forest fire in 1975.
