Lübeln, Satemin, Jeetzel. Wendland is well-known for its Rundling villages in which the houses are constructed in a circular arrangement. The village is accessed by just one driveway. Each village has its own history and its own, central village square — to hang out and chat.
Wonderful, old half-timbered houses, each unique, and most of them painstakingly renovated, create a charming atmosphere in the Rundling villages — and of course, the people who live there, too. The origins of these villages are still a mystery today. In the Wendlandhof Rundling Village Museum in Lübeln, the history of the Rundling villages and the life and work of the people who were here about 200 years ago comes to life again in 18 experience areas.
